Britomart - Greening the City Illustrations

A collection of illustrations showcasing native Flora and Fauna for Britomart’s ‘Greening the City’ initiative. Giving away thousands of native trees in Britomart's Takutai Square, they are giving the community the opportunity and know-how to help tackle climate change by planting their own.

The final destination for the illustration is a series of posters and installations around Britomart, as well as animations for social media.

Hope created a vibrant natural world, pairing native trees and shrubs with birds and bees. Hope wanted to hero the gorgeous textures and variety of the natural landscape kiwis are lucky to live in. Custom typography was also created for the long form posters up around the city centre.

A fun, spirited animation bought the landscape to life, giving personality to the little creatures that populate our native trees.
