Opa Fred Loves his Shed Picture Book

This project is a personal project that is very close to Hope’s heart. Following the sudden passing of her father in law mid 2020, Hope’s husband Blake wrote a story about his Dad, which Hope illustrated into a childrens book. The intention was to capture the memory of the amazing man that was Fred. Titled ‘Opa Fred loves his Shed’ (Opa being the dutch equivalent of Grandpa), this book was created to share the legacy of Fred with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and shine a light on his kind, fun and quirky personality.

The book follows the perfect day in Opa Fred’s life, where his time is spent with his beloved family in his beloved shed.
